I've been away for a little while, and although I hate not being here I have had plenty of time to think about future directions for PL. We have lots of exciting ideas, and would love to see you in the realm to involve yourself in them. To start off fresh, there's been a staff change, which is as follows:

JOBS AVAILABLE
We are in desperate need for people to work in the guards, sanctuary and sacred glade, if you have a character with no job or a pretend job then please consider working for one of these departments, there is very little work actually involved and it will even add to your role-play. I am willing to consider job title suggestions and be generous with rank if you can exhibit suitable role-play skills.

NEW PACK
There's a new pack in town, wolf pack, that is. Lupus Obscuri. This is the kind of pack that prides themselves upon being wolves, but live amongst the humans. With large enough numbers, the pack will be able to be more involved politically in the realm. We're looking to fill all sorts of positions in the pack, but we're looking for just general members too. It doesn't matter if you're a newly bitten wolf, or a well seasoned beast, there's room for you in the pack. Once a member of the pack, you become family. This family group will run the forest lands together while offering protection, companionship, and guidance to its members. Jason Blairs and Noelle september are ruling Ulfric and Lupa, so talk to either of them if you're interested in joining the pack, or learning a bit more about it

JULY ART CONTEST
-Patriotism-
I know not everyone is from the US, but since we just celebrated
independence day, it got me thinking, why don't we show our patriotism for
Phoenix Realm? Here's the deal, you can enter either an avatar or an entrance or
exit banner (following the rules for the site) with a patriotic (phoenix realm) theme. Just head to the boards and enter the competition under the Peirene section. Be creative!

I know that the last competition never got completed but don't let that put you
off! I will be running this competition personally, so lets see some site effort

JULY WRITERS CONTEST
Two contests simultaneously!
The First contest is strictly for members who have previously won an Ex Libris contest!
This allows the people known to have excellent literary talent, and will make for an exciting contest.

The Second, most likely obvious, is only for members who haven't won a contest, or for members who haven't earned their badge yet.
I hope having two contests will promote member participation.

The Contest (It will be the same for each group.) is to delve into the back story of your character. Not their history, but rather why they came into your mind when you were creating a character. What made you think of the Character you imagined? How did you decide what Picture to use? Any particular reason they are the race they are?

HOMES
In smaller news the homes to buy in chat are no longer limited by how many people can live in each property. I hope that you will however incorporate into your role-plays if you are squeezing too many people into a tiny house or have one person living in a mansion.
